Pandemic Review

Having not played Pandemic in quite some time, we thought that we would give the cooperative gaming gem a bit of table time. It’s interesting how not playing a game for a while can cause you to forget that “hard mode” actually means what it infers – especially when inadvertently playing on hard mode. Thus was the case with our adventure with Pandemic. We rolled the game out anticipating a clean steam rolling session, and walked away with nothing short of blood, sweat, and tears. However, that isn’t to say that we didn’t have fun in the process. Well, maybe not all of us…

Nice video guys, love the intro, adds production value for sure!
Great review. Glad to have a group review. So often we get stuck with one person’s opinion (ie Board Games with Scott or The Dice Tower). Though I usually agree with these single sided reviews, it’s nice to see a differing of viewpoints in one review.
BTW, I would seriously consider purchasing the On the Brink expansion. It will definitely improve replayability. Primarily with the added roles. It is also nice when you get bored with the basic version you can try the mutation or virulent strain. Finally if that isn’t enough of a challenge, you can combine them.
