The Game Designer resource for Tempest :
If you are a game designer, AEG has opened up the resource toolbox for game designers interested in designing a game for the Tempest line!
Board Game designers will find a wealth of information and resources about AEG’s new City-State of Tempest game line on this site. They can use this to prepare and submit game designs for possibly publication in the game line. The City-State of Tempest features a vibrant, living world with a huge cast of characters. Designers can help bring this world to life by telling the stories of the characters and city through their games.

Very interesting to see a board game company have something akin to a “mod community” similar to a video game company. It’s not completely the same, but it will be interesting to see what comes of it.
I think this is an absolutely fantastic idea and cannot wait to see where it goes. I imagine a fantastic indie movement if this comes together.
