CGE Announcing new games for Essen 2012
Like previous years CGE is preparing new interesting games for the Essen fair 2012. This year we’ll surprise you with games from non-Czech designers as well as an expansion to one of our older games. Keep reading if you want to find more ….
The designer of this game is Filip Neduk from Croatia. Goblins Inc. is a team game, but a bit different than you would expect a team game to be. You represent Goblin engineers that are trying to impress their boss. Each round, players will form different teams that will build giant war machines to fight each other. But always remember, only one goblin can win. Because there is no “G” in team work.
Tzolkin: The Mayan Calendar
Designed by Italian authors Daniele Tascini and Simone Luciani. This game features a new and unique game mechanic – dynamic worker placement on gears that rotate. It is up to you whether to use them sooner for immediate benefits, or you wait until the movement of the gears bring them to stronger actions.
The game ends after one full revolution of the central Tzolkin gear. There are many paths to victory; Pleasing the gods by placing crystal skulls in deep caves or building a lot of temples to name just two.
Dungeon Lords: Festival Season
A big expansion to our successful game. It brings lots of Dungeon Lording goodness, including lovely creatures you might know from our another game – did you know Dungeon Lords tend to buy their own personal pets?
If you want your idea to be included in the expansion, please check our Special Events Creative Contest.
We are sad to announce that Bunny Bunny Moose Moose: Llama Llama expansion was postponed again. We realized it needs more playtesting, to balance different strategies and tactics. The new release date is estimated as April 1st, 2019.
