I thought the idea behind Spearpoint 1943 was interesting. For me the game wound up being boring because there was no maneuver, it was just line them up and roll the dice. I like tactical gaming because I enjoyed trying to set up good firing positions and balancing maneuvers to attack and defend.
I did buy this expansion and it sounds like it may just add what I thought was missing. Next up: Playing it!
