Al Rashid (Video Review)

Harun al-Rashid was the greatest Caliph of all time.
His prosperous reign was the focus of the cultural, scientific and political world of its time.
This game allows you to play the role of a faction whose life, trade and intrigues have only one purpose: to grow rich and powerful, and to ensure the favor of the mighty ruler.
Each player controls a family vying to distinguish themselves in the eyes of the Caliph, dealing with Guilds and claiming important titles in his palace.
Of course, there are costs to sustain, so you will also have to turn part of your efforts to the trade of luxury wares: a profitable, albeit dangerous, activity!

I also nabbed a copy through Funagain, and I agree with all your comments. A quite unique and fun experience. I wasn’t sure it would be worth the added cost for its limited print run, but I’m happy I got it.
BTW, how about looking at the camera more often. Don’t be shy. It won’t suck out your brain.
Well, not too much, anyway.
Hah! I had the board set up so kept looking down at it to remind myself what I wanted to say. I’ve caught myself doing this a few times. I’ll try to be more aware of it
