The Long View
In this episode of The Long View, I am joined by special guest John Brier as we discuss the classic game of Reef Encounter. Along the way, we discuss common misconceptions about this game, its theme, and mechanics. Listen, and learn how to become a player worthy of the shark tank that is….Reef Encounter!
Thanks, as always to www.2d6.org for generously hosting The Long View, a proud member of the Dice Tower Network. Thanks to our sponsor www.gamesurplus.com, your premium source for the games you love and, as always, thank YOU for listening!

Stock game you say?!
Hmm… I should really try and check this out…
As soon as he said it I thought, “He’s absolutely right!” though I had never thought of it in those terms. It’s a stock game, but it’s a MEAN stock game! You should certainly try it out. It’s a fantastic game.
Incredible review, thank you.

The download mp3 link is missing, at least on the day that I’m commenting this. Could someone at 2D6.org please fix that? I’d like to hear the positive conversation about Reef Encounter, because I simply could not get into this game when I played it.
Alright, with some clever googling, I was able to discover the download link. For anyone who wants it, highlight the following text, right click and choose “Save Link As”.

Sorry Andrew,
I fixed all of them! We used to host the show on our server and then it was moved because it caused to much usage and was getting us into trouble. So I removed our local player and that is why all the links disappeared.
Thanks, Kevin. I cynically didn’t expect my voice to be heard by anyone that could do anything about it. You’ve restored my faith in humanity. I will mail you a kitty. It probably won’t survive the journey, but it’s the thought that counts.
Andrew, Please don’t mail me a Kitty. I have enough of them already.
