20 October 2013 2 Comments

Now you can play D&D anywhere with the first ever Dungeons & Dragons free-to-play mobile game, Arena of War, from Wizards of the Coast and DeNA! The new game is available for iOS mobile devices (iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch) beginning today.

Arena of War is a thrilling, turn-based, 3D, battle-RPG mobile game that sends players on perilous quests through the Forgotten Realms during the Sundering. As a proven fearless champion, the player is called upon to fight for the gods of good and will reshape both heaven and earth and shift the balance of good and evil during this Realms-changing event.

The Arena of War App is now available for free from the App Store. In addition, pre-registration for the Android version (coming soon!) is now open and players can upgrade their characters with the Ultra Rare Power CAUSE FEAR here.

Disappointed. Not much turn based tactical combat there. Just tedious sameish repetitive boring mechanics. Why not make it a real D&D experience when they had the chance?
