It is great to be a gamer in America because of… our free market economy!  There is always a way to find the game you are looking for at less than MSRP.

I'm blessed to be in the USA, where one can create their own economic engine, produce a widget (e.g. little wooden cubes), and turn them into victory points…err….money that can be used to buy more games! Laugh

Happy Holidays everyone!

The U.S.A. is a great place to be obsessed with board games!  Shipping is cheap and plenty of B&M to pick from too.

The United States is a great place to be a gamer because it is where all my gaming buddies live.  If I lived anywhere else, I would have to fly thousands of miles to play a game with them.  As much as I enjoy them and our gaming sessions, that would be cost prohibitive.  I would end up having to give up gaming and just be sad.  Unless…….there are gamers in other countries?  Nah, impossible.

I can think of lots of reasons… all the convention/events around the nation where you can meet new gamers, all those cultists of the new make easier on the budget, several outlets online and FLGS to feed the addiction, etc. The USA is just plain great for everything, including being a gamer! I feel privleged to part of this placeCool.

I am American and that is a great country to game because of all the conventions and other gamers.  I currently live in Indonesia, which is also a great country to game because of the small but dedicated community of gamers from many religions, races, and backgrounds all united by their passion for board gaming.

I live in the United States. I feel grateful for the wealth I am surrounded by in this country. Many of us have the time and money to do what we love and still have the resources to give to others who don't. I have been able to enjoy great games from all over the world though, and even play online with others across the globe. It's a great time to be a gamer!
